Crock-pot Smothered Chinese Pepper Steak

Total Time: 8 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs round steaks, cut into thin strips
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes
  • 1 onion, cut into rings
  • 2 green bell peppers, cut into strips
  • 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, smashed
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 cup bean sprouts (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 put steak, flour, pepper in crock-pot. stir until well coated.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients.
  • 3 cover and cook on low 8 hours.
  • 4 (high for 4 hours).
  • 5 remove cover to thicken.
  • 6 serve over noodles or rice.
