Lamb Steak Chop Suey

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup mazola corn oil
  • 1 1/2 cups diced lamb steak
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 can drained lachoy bean sprouts
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons lachoy soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional, i don't use this)

Recipe

  • 1 pour shortening into a hot skillet.
  • 2 add the lamb steak and seer quickly.
  • 3 add onion and fry for 5 minutes.
  • 4 add celery, salt, pepper and hot water.
  • 5 cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  • 6 add drained, lachoy bean sprouts.
  • 7 mix thoroughly and heat to a boiling point.
  • 8 add flavoring and thickening ingredients.
  • 9 stir lightly and cook 5 minutes.
  • 10 can be served over lachoy chow mein noodles, or over rice.
