Paprika-buttered Cauliflower

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 heads , cauliflowers
  • water
  • salt
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons paprika

Recipe

  • 1 cut off the tough stem ends of each cauliflower and remove most of the outer leaves. leave the cauliflowers intact.
  • 2 place th cauliflowers in a pot filled with about 1 1/2 inches of boiling salted water, flower side down. cover, steam about 15 minute until tender-crisp.
  • 3 meanwhile, saute the onions in heated butter until soft. add paprika.
  • 4 drain the cauliflowers. arange on serving dish. top with the onion mixture. serve immediately.
  • 5 good served with marinated flank steak, baked or shoestring potatoes and rainbow sherbert for dessert.
