Grilled Flank Steak

Total Time: 4 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 4 hrs Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steaks
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine marinade ingredients in a ziploc bag squishing around to mix well. place steak in marinade, press out the air and seal the bag. place bag flat on a plate and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. remove steak from marinade and discard marinade. grill over direct heat 5 minutes on each side so it is browned on the outside and still rare in the center. place steak on a plate and tent with foil for at least 15 minute cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices before serving.
