Grilled Flank Steak

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs flank steaks, trimmed and scored on both sides
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice, from fresh lemon
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, freshly chopped

Recipe

  • 1 combine all marinade ingredients in a large zip lock bag (gallon size).
  • 2 add flank steak. seal bag and place in casserole dish big enough to hold steak flat. turn and shake a few times to get marinade all over meat. refrigerate and marinate overnight, turning occasionally.
  • 3 remove steak from marinade, and grill on high heat for 5 minutes. turn with tongs and grill on other side until desired doneness, about 3 minutes for rare.
