Pepper Steak

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 12 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb beef round steak
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup sliced green pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Recipe

  • 1 pound steak to tenderize.
  • 2 cut in 1/4 inch thick strips.
  • 3 in wok or lg skillet, brown meat in oil.
  • 4 add peppers, green onions and garlic.
  • 5 stir-fry for 4-5 minutes.
  • 6 mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce; add to skillet.
  • 7 bring to a boil.
  • 8 cook and stir for 1 minute.
